The Mod Generation

In the UK today there are mods who have been part of the movement from the time of the late 70's/early 80's revival, as well as the original mods from the 60's. But increasingly we are seeing more younger mods who are just getting into the scene. For those involved it's not a matter of the older or younger generation - today they are all part of The Mod Generation.

Most fashion retailers will target a specific market niche, whether by sex, age, style, price etc. At Indi we cater for Mods/Casuals with a certain style, and we find that the new generation of Mod at 17/18 years of age will buy into exactly the same style or brand as the older Mod/Scooterist-whether it be a Brutus Trimfit Shirt, Lambretta parka or something from the Gabicci Vintage collection. The only difference might be in the size of the garment!

The Mod scene is set to grow even stronger this year-in fact, with our Autumn/Winter 2013 buying already done, it is obvious that Mens Mod clothing is set to stay for quite some time yet! This is great news for all who work or shop at Indi because we love the clean lines and sharp cut of mens mod clothing brands. In fact the good news is that we have extended and improved our mod clothing collections, as we are now appointed stockists for Ben Sherman, surely one of the biggest mens mod clothing brands of all time.
